We grew up in different houses, on different streets, with different songs playing in the background. Years passed before a single ordinary day put us in the same room.

What began as a conversation became a habit, then a home. We learned each other slowly — the laugh, the silence, the way a hand finds another without looking.

And one day we realised we had been walking toward each other the whole time.
